Can I get service at my location?
We currently serve the following areas: Fenton, Holly, Groveland TWP, Rose TWP, Tyrone Twp, Deerfield Center, Fenton Twp, Gaines, Swartz Creek, Grand Blanc TWP, and Hartland.
Can I use the service on more than one device?
Yes, If you purchase a wireless router then you will have internet wirelessly throughout your home. If you purchase a router before your installation, our technicians will set it up for you at the time of installation.
How fast is your service?
Our high-speed service is about 50-100 times faster than dial-up. The connection is digital from end-to-end and does not travel over analog phone lines, virtually elimitating retransmission errors. There is no delay in connecting, or dialing out to the Internet, as your computer is connected when it is turned on.
Do you require a long term contract?
We are confident that our service is the best value in high-speed internet in the Tri-County area, so we do not require a long term commitment. Our service is month-to-month and can be cancelled by simply giving a 30 day notice. We will retrieve our equipment.
How do I sign up?
Call our office at 810.433.6800. We require a free site survey to determine if a proper signal is available.
Can I install the Equipment myself?
No, Our equipment requires professional installation and must be installed by Tri-County Wireless. This ensures that our customers will get the best performance possible.
When can I get service?
We can schedule and install usually within 2-3 business days of your request. A small modem is installed on the outside of your home with a cable running indoors, connecting to your computer or router. The installation takes between 2-4 hours, depending on the complexity of running the cable from outdoors to indoors.
What payment methods do you accept?
We electronically bill our service in month increments, from the to the 15th. Bills are due on the 30th. You can pay with cash, by credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard) or pay by personal/business check. Ask about auto pay option.
Can my landlord or deed restrictions preclude me from installing an outdoor antenna?
Federal Law limits the ability of a landlord, homeowners association and local governments to restrict your ability to install an antenna to receive fixed wireless broadband Internet services. For more information on the Telecommunications Act of 1996, visit the FCC website.
