How we use the internet today is a lot different than how we used it few years ago. 70% of all internet usage in the United States is used for streaming videos which has doubled in the last three years. When we designed our internet packages years ago we were all checking emails, visiting websites and shopping online. Then we were all introduced to Netflix, YouTube, Hulu and Amazon and love our streaming media providers.
We have heard from our customers about the dreaded buffering or loading symbol when trying to watch videos and evaluated our current packages. Effective August 15th all of our customers can enjoy less buffering or loading with additional bandwidth to help support video streaming. In order to meet the demands we have purchased additional bandwidth which also required that we evaluate the cost of our plans as well. Effective October 1, 2016 our package prices have changed. Please see the packages tab on our website to see all of the bandwidth and price changes.
